Pringle of Scotland

From the Archives is a limited edition capsule collection re-releasing some of Pringle of Scotland’s most famous and beloved Eighties styles. The new v-neck lambswool jumpers in Pastel Pink, Pastel Blue, Lemon, Camel and Grey Marl are all modern versions of nostalgic favourites, once easily recognisable on the bcks of proudly-matching groups of friends: a fashionable crew in the decade’s favourite pastel hues.

The capsule also includes two multicolour styles using Pringle’s argyle in the same pastel palette. After all, think Pringle, think argyle. The brand is famous for its diamond DNA, worn in university halls and on the golf course, by way of royalty and fashion rebels. Pringle of Scotland recently celebrated this design history with Reissued: a collection celebrating argyle’s many colourful incarnations.

Long-term Pringle fans will recognise the ‘Striker’ motif used for this collection: featuring the brand’s heritage Lion Rampant emblem over a sporting-vintage Pringle logo. The Striker was seen on many styles from Pringle’s 1980s collections and was a badge of honour for a tribe united by their pastel pullovers.
