BIRKENSTOCK and MATCHESFASHION celebrated the launch of the first 1774 collection with stylist Leslie Fremar at Frieze Los Angeles. As official partners of the art fair, the collection will be available as the exclusive first drop at MATCHESFASHION from February 13-16 and online at matchesfashion. com before releasing globally March 1.

Among the prominent guests was also the Game of Thrones star Alfie Allen and Antonia Showering

A new, season-less unisex collection takes the most iconic Birkenstock styles and elevates them with state of the art manufacturing techniques. The collection consists of brand-defining styles which include the: Arizona, Milano, Madrid and the Siena sandal.

To commemorate the launch, BIRKENSTOCK partnered with artist Amalia Ulman who transformed her work `Dignity´ into a photography experience and installation on the Paramount Studios backlot within the art fair.
