And it is with this altruistic spirit that Tristate International SA, the parent firm of C.P. Company, the sportswear Italian brand, is donating sanitary PPEs (Personal Protective Equipment) to Lombardy, one of the most hit Italian regions by COVID-19 pandemic.

19,000 sanitary masks have been delivered at the beginning of this week to AREU (Azienda Regionale Emergenza Urgenza) -Regional Emergency Company, that coordinates and monitors all the out-of-hospital emergency-urgency activities (118). Also 1,000 sanitary suits for medical staff are on their way to Lombardy. This is the first batch only and more will be shipped in the next days and weeks, as soon as they will be available on the Chinese market.
 

To be as fast as possible in fighting this emergency, equipment have been bought on the market for immediate donation. At the same time, Tristate is working on a mid-term project, converting his production plan in Hefei to produce protective clothing for the frontline medical staff. Since we think that this battle will be long, TRINOVATION Italy, TRISTATE R&D subsidiary, is working with other Italian companies and universities to create a range of re-usable masks that can help to protect the population while reducing the environmental impact. The fist prototypes will be ready in the next weeks.

It’s not only a humanitarian aid, but also a corporate sense of responsibility from Tristate and C.P. Company in facing the biggest challenge for humanity after WW2.
