Cory on being discovered...

“I was discovered through company called Proscout. And what they do, they go to small cities and towns and they were in Atlanta, Georgia. I did a runway show, presentations of pictures, met three agents there and I picked up. I started working, went to Milan for a little bit. That was a good start in the business.”

On career highlights...

“Let’s say my career highlight It would be getting a Times Square billboard for Michael Kors underwear campaign. It’s kind of unbelievable, you walk out of the subway and you see yourself wrapped around this building. I think that was the highlight of my career so far. I really enjoy modeling. It has been good to me."

On his most favourite picture...

“I have picture that’s unpublished, that’s shot by Bruce Weber and it’s my wife and I. She is in a bathtub with a bra on her toe, covered with bubble bath. And I am in a wild field I am putting a hot water into her bath. And it’s just like a sweet, beautiful photograph. There are just probably only two in existence and I have one and Bruce has the other one. That’s my favourite picture.”

On his most embarrassing fashion moment ...

“My most embarrassing moment in fashion was probably, I did a very intimate shoot with a girl, in Milan and I was a very young man and I got a little excited. That’s pretty embarrassing.”

On definition of modeling ...

“It is probably, having an ability, to see something, or to create a character for that product. So I think that’s my definition of model, to sell an item.”

On his hometown ...

“I am from Nashville, Tennessee I was born there, right in Downtown Nashville. I go there back pretty often, probably this afternoon. Yeah, it’ s a small town, but I also split time between Nashville and New York City, I like both places. I like the diversity, I like New York. You can be spontaneous! You can go out and have an adventure. And in Tennessee it’s more laid back. It’s a little more work, but you can still have a great time there. In New York, it’s (snaps fingers) immediate, like that!"

On his beautiful wife Bekah ...

“My Wife, Bekah, is also a successful model. She was one of the youngest girls to ever shoot for W magazine at the age of 14 and she’s worked for many major brands since then. She is a stunning beauty girl. She is actually the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my life. Sometimes I pinch myself, because she is so beautiful like that, and she married me.”

On the most happiest moments ...

“When I have the freedom to do, you know anything I want. Freedom is happiness to me, being able to travel, I am happiest when I am traveling, meeting new people, stimulation, different things, when I am working.”

On his favourite piece of clothing ...

“My Michael Bastian cashmere sweater, it has a fire breathing dragon on it. And I think that is the most bad ass sweater that I own (laughing).”

On his last picture on his phone ...

“It was from a party last night, I went to my agency birthday party, it was 5 anniversary party. Soul Artist Management, it was a big bash so I took some pictures there.”

On the most important thing in his life ...

“Right at the moment, it’s my wife and she is pregnant with my child. So that is the most important thing at the moment, nothing more.”

 On the definition of a gentleman ...

“Opening a door for someone, is my definition of being a gentlemen. If someone is carrying something, just help as a guy and hold the door open. Just be courteous. Not because you want something, just because it’s polite manners.”
